How it works?

Sometimes maybe some of you curious how come I make my self look gorgeous in the photograph.
hahaha just kidding.

Actually I never really learn how to use photoshop from books, a mentor, teacher or etc. But I always learn it from doing it.
I create so many kind of design, from the really scratch. I'm suck at all you know, and I'm not that creative. But  today I'm going to share you something that I have learned.
How come I'm turning this:
taken by Arjo in front of Graha Sainta
into this:
with a light graffiti touch :p
Well, it's not that hard.. you just have to do some kind of stuff.
I'm using Adobe Photoshop CS 3 you might ask.. So if you don't really familiar with the interface, it's not really different after all.

Step One: well open the image, you can do with the Ctrl+O or File >> Open

Step Two: Then, make the auto levels, or levels on Image >> Adjustment >> Levels... until you think that's bright and good enough.
You can also give some brightness and contrast if you like

Step Three: Then how to make your skin look brighter, do this from the Selective Color from the same toolbar, Image and Adjustment

Step Four: Then go to layer >> new adjustment layer >> photo filter, you can select sepia or anything you like, but i like sepia, go to 75% it could work

Step Five: Then, lower the opacity at the layer window until 25%, or as you like

Step Six: Go to layer layer >> new adjustment layer >> gradient overlay, you can choose any kind of color you like, but i like the orange and white, so this is how it goes

Step Seven: Once again, lower the opacity at the layer window until 20% or anymore you like

Step Eight: Give some touch with brush. Brush it red like this or any color you like.. like blue green or anything else. After that, change the blend to Screen or Lighten, then the opacity

Step Nine: Well, this is how to make a frame like border at the top and the bottom. Go to the custom shape tool, select rectangle tool and choose the black color. Give some at the top and bottom, rasterize it at the layer window, rasterize layer, and for the final touch give some blur tool at the edge of the shape

And for the final touch, the http://pixlr.com would do. They have many kind of awesome stuffs and effects, and I kinda like that.

Step Ten: Select Vintage Effects, then select the picture you just done by the photoshop

Step Eleven: Now I like the sophia effect so I choose that effect

Step Twelve: Click the blue on something like speedometer on the bottom, Give the light graffiti with the beep effect, save it, and enjoy!

Well, here you go!

now, it's like a Lomo maybe? catch ya later guys!
